MICHAELMAS TERM: WORK EXPERIENCE AND CV WRITING

The focus of this term is to initiate the process for applying for a work experience placement to go on at the end of the school year, as well as what a Curriculum Vitae is and how to write a successful one. Dr Boyd is involved with this.

LENT TERM: CURRENT AFFAIRS

This term, the National Citizenship Service come in to launch their summer programme and you can find out how to get involved. Lessons will also be spent looking at current affairs with opportunities to research topics and hold debates.

TRINITY TERM: PREPARING TO GO

With what little time there is this term before study leave, you will receive peer advice on how to use your study leave productively as well as Ithappens education delivering their talk on ‘How to stay safe at festivals’.
